Submission Preparation Checklist

During submission, authors confirm each of the following items. Submissions that do not meet them are returned to the authors before review.

• The manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration by another journal.
• The manuscript file is anonymised. Author names, affiliations, and the name of the ethics committee appear only on the separate title page.
• The manuscript follows the Author Guidelines, including the word limit, abstract format, APA 7th Edition referencing, and DOIs for references where available.
• The completed checklist for the relevant reporting guideline is uploaded.
• Ethics approval and informed consent are reported, or the reason they were not required is stated.
• The title page includes declarations on conflicts of interest, funding, data availability, author contributions (CRediT), and the use of generative AI.
• All authors have approved the submission, and ORCID iDs are provided for all authors.
• Permission has been obtained for all copyrighted material, including instruments, figures, and tables.
