MINDSET collects and processes personal data only as needed to operate the journal, in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data Collected

Names, email addresses, affiliations, ORCID iDs, and the information provided in submissions, reviews, and user accounts.

Purpose

To manage submissions, peer review, and publication, to communicate with authors, reviewers, and editors, and to comply with publication ethics obligations.

Sharing

Personal data are not sold or used for marketing. On publication, the names, affiliations, and ORCID iDs of authors form part of the article metadata and are shared with Crossref for DOI registration and with indexing and archiving services. Reviewer identities are not disclosed.

Retention

Data related to published articles are retained permanently as part of the scholarly record. Data related to declined submissions are retained for five years for publication ethics purposes and then deleted. User accounts may be closed on request.

Cookies

The website uses essential session cookies required for logging in, and collects anonymous usage statistics. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
